Employment Mediation

Mediation in workplace between employers and employees increases productivity and reduces conflict.

Mediation for Employer / Employee Conflict

Disputes and conflicts are not uncommon in the workplace.  Frequently they are the result of ineffective communication or a difference between employer and employee expectations and outcomes.  Other times they are the result of ineffective communication in an employment setting.  By agreeing to mediate such matters, employers and employees can work cooperatively to resolve their differences without the need for expensive or disruptive litigation.  This non-binding and confidential process can be a powerful way to develop a smoother and more productive relationship between supervisors or managers and other employees moving forward.  Where continued employment is not the goal, mediation can also assist parties in agreeing on a severance plan that is satisfactory to both parties without the devastating financial impact of a court decision.  Mediation is also an effective alternative dispute resolution technique for conflict between employees or between an employee and a supervisor that is affecting productivity, interpersonal relations, and morale in the workplace.
